Melanie Romina's story

Melanie Romina, 21, is single and lives in her parents' house in Jipijapa Canton, known as the "Sultan of Coffee" for its coffee-growing tradition, a place that's also very affected by Covid-19.

She's a very hardworking young woman who, in spite of hardship, is looking for a way to earn her resources to help her parents with the household expenses. She has a store in the city where she sells clothing, shoes, and accessories.

Before the pandemic she had very good sales. Then she couldn't open her store and she was only selling via social media, which caused her sales to drop a lot. Now she managed to open and, although she's not selling like before, at least she earns what's necessary for her store expenses.

This loan is to buy shoes, pants, t-shirts, blouses, children's clothing, and other garments.
