Ronal's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a solar refrigerator system to help improve his grocery and fish income.

Ronal's story

Ronal is a fisherman, farmer and keeps livestock. He has been making a living from this business for nine years. He is 33 years old and lives in Gracias a Dios department in Honduras.
In addition to his business, he provides a transportation service with his boat because the community where he lives has very limited ground transportation and there is no electricity. Ronal lives with his son and his wife who is a school teacher. Together they struggle to provide for the household. Some time ago they got a loan through Soluz Honduras to buy a solar powered refrigerator. It allowed them to take care of products and set up a successful grocery store providing a good service for their customers. He is currently applying for a loan to buy another solar powered refrigerator because his business has grown and it will allow him to look after his stock and generate more income.
