01_Tefess Sop Sa Jeker Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fabrics and cosmetic products for resale.

01_Tefess Sop Sa Jeker Group's story

This group of two brave women has been part of the local Banc Villageois since August 2008. They live in the same neighborhood and value solidarity, respect, and sharing. They have benefited from several loans which they repaid as expected. Their primary activity is small trade.

Mrs. Mariama is the group's representative. In the photo, she is standing on the right with a hand raised. She is married with five school-educated children, one of them a boy.

Mariama runs a business selling fabrics and cosmetic products. She orders merchandise in the sub-region and conducts her sales at the local fishing dock where she keeps a shop. She has several years of experience in this work.

Mariama plans to buy cosmetics and wax fabrics to sell with hopes of making a good profit. Her business is doing well despite the competition.

Her profits allow her to support her children's education. She plans to buy a car eventually.
