A loan helped to buy an industrial heater, raw materials and tools, and to pay debts accumulated during this cruel pandemic.

Marlon David's story

Marlón is a 51-year-old small business owner. He's a resident of the municipality of Galapa. He tells us he has much experience in the restaurant and kitchen sector as he's been employed in such establishments for many years.

A year ago, he made the decision to become independent and offer his services on different fronts, such as: lunch sales during the week; fast food, like finger foods and fried foods on the weekend; and for special events, buffet style special dishes.

His wife helps out with the business. They have two children and live in a house that is under construction. Marlon's biggest hope is to finish the construction, so they can enjoy a better quality of life.

His earnings have been affected by Covid-19 and that's why he is requesting his first Kiva loan with the Santo Domingo Foundation, with which he'll buy an industrial heater, raw materials and tools, and pay debts accumulated during this cruel pandemic.

Support him with his loan. He'll be a success.
