A loan helped to pay for fence construction around his house.

Chanthou's story

Chanthou is 36 years old and is a married father of one child. He is residing in the Krong Pursat district of Pursat province. He devotes himself to farming, while his wife works as a garment worker for household income. Together, they can make around USD $8 per day to support themselves. He wants to be more successful in his family-owned agribusinesses and earn a good income to meet his daily living needs. With his hard effort, the approximately USD $8 per day earned is spent on daily meals, clothes, medicine and his children's education fees.

Because of the shortage of his finances, he has applied for a loan in the amount of KHR 4,000,000 to pay for fence construction around his house. With this loan support, he will have money to purchase construction supplies, such as bricks and cement, and pay for laborers. This new fence is very important to protect his family members and to live with a comfortable living standard and good environment.

He sends thanks to all lenders who have contributed their funds to help a poor fellow like him.
