Mosiata's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy rice, sugar and mixed goods for her general store business.

Mosiata's story

Mosiata is a 53-year-old woman who is married with two children and they live in a community in Honiara, the capital of Solomon Islands.

She runs a small general store business selling rice, noodles, canned foods, sugar and biscuits in her community to earn a living. She has been in this business for six years.

Mosiata has requested a loan to pay for additional rice, sugar and mixed goods to increase her stock and assist her in running her business.

She plans to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and improve her business.

She joined SPBD in 2015 to gain access to financial services.
