but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up with 8 bales of used clothing.

Linda Vema Group's story

Ms. Charlotte is a client of the microfinance institution HEKIMA and presides over the business group named “LINDA VEMA”. She is a widow, 52 years old, and the mother of six children (three in school and three independent). Her partner is unemployed.

A vendor of secondhand clothing, she began her business in 2000 with startup funds from her revenue-generating work. Later on, she joined the Hekima program for supporting her enterprise and has since been progressing in it.

With this new loan, she is going to stock up with 8 bales of used clothing to bolster her initial capital. The challenge in her business has to do with a lack of customers.

She would like to do some construction. So, she wishes to thank HEKIMA and its partners for supporting business owners lacking cash during this global crisis tied to Covid-19. The photo shows only the group leader because of Covid-19.
