Titty's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy school bags, women's bags, and other items to increase her business.

Titty's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is Titty from Waterloo. She is 49 years old, married, and the mother of three children who range in age from 15 and 26 years old. They all attend school. Titty has also adopted two of her relatives.

To support her family, Titty sells different kinds of school bags, women's bags, and other items. She has been in this business for twenty years. Her family's other source of income comes from her husband's job. Her main challenge is occasional slow sales during the COVID 19 pandemic.

Titty has requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to buy more items to sell to her customers. Her goals for the future are to improve her business, educate her children, and open a big shop of her own. She says thanks to Brac and Kiva for their support.
