Flor Maria's story

Flor, 54, is married. She has two adult children. Her husband's a fisherman. They live in Jaramijo Canton, a pretty place where the residents are very humble and hardworking people who work in the seafood trade.

Flor's an enterprising and responsible woman who works these days to earn income to cover her needs and to have a fund for when she can no longer work as hard. This is why she started 17 years ago with a small store in her home, enabling her to sell food and beverages.

But her business was affected by the pandemic because her sales and, consequently, her income diminished drastically. That's why she's requesting a new loan to reactivate her business.

She's going to invest this loan in a purchase of provisions and beverages.

Her dream is that her business will progress.
