A loan helped to purchase clothing and seafood in order to resume sales.

Jessica Johana's story

Jessica is 19 years old and is in a common-law marriage. She has 2 daughters, ages 3 months and 9 years. Her husband is a driver. They rent a home in Jaramijo Canton, a beautiful location where the inhabitants are quite humble,hard-working, and dedicated mainly to selling seafood.

Jessica is an enterprising woman who, every day, tries to help her husband cover their household expenses. That is why for the last 2 years she has operated her own business, selling clothing and seafood. Her sales are accomplished by peddling on the streets, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic business has diminished, due to the present insecurity. Jessica's income has declined drastically and that is why she is now soliciting a new loan hoping to reactivate her business once again.

The loan will be invested in purchasing clothing and seafood to sell.

Jessica's dream is for her business to regain its progress, as well as to have her own home.
