Colon Wilfrido if 57 years old, is married, and his children are all adults. His wife is a business woman, and they live in Jipijapa, Ecuador, a place very much affected by the health emergency stemming from COVID-19.

Colon Wilfrido is a man who, together with his wife, fights to earn an honorable living. They have a restaurant where they prepare and sell fish stew (encebollados de pescado), lunches, and other dishes preferred by their distinguished customer base, who used to visit their restaurant in great numbers prior to the pandemic. Since the beginning of the pandemic they have not been able to open the restaurant since, due to government measures to stop the spread of the virus, they were obligated to shut down. Thus they began to sell take out, and now once again they are able to be in the restaurant and for that reason they need a loan. This loan will be used to buy fish, beef, yucca, and other food items for preparing dishes for their restaurant.
