Patricia Carolina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay suppliers and rent, manage the business, and buy merchandise.

Patricia Carolina's story

Patricia is a 44-year-old microentrepreneur living in the city of Barranquilla. She has been in business for fifteen years and learned the trade after working in a clothing shop. That is how her business was born. She started it with help from a relative, but in time she gradually reached more customers and increased sales enough that she decided to open a shop downtown. Currently it is closed due to the pandemic so she is making sales from home, as shown in the photo.

She wants to keep expanding her business, open more shops, and create jobs. She is currently requesting her first Kiva loan through Fundación Mario Santo Domingo in order to pay several overdue bills from suppliers, pay rent, manage her business, and replace sold-out merchandise. Thank you for supporting her business!
