Batumike Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on 100 sacks of cement, which will build on her initial capital.

Batumike Group's story

Jeannette is a client of the Hekima MFI and president of the village group "Batumike". She is married, 55 years old, and mother of eight children, two of whom are in school and the others have finished; her partner is a painter.

She is a cement saleswoman, having started this business 25 years ago with the start-up funds received from her husband. Later she involved the Hekima programme to support her business, during which she has developed steadily.

With this new loan, she will buy 100 bags of cement, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is related to unpaid debts. She would like to build a house for rental.

Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support given to owners of non-bankable businesses in the context of the global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo is only of the leader of the group because of COVID-19.
