Beza's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy three pigs, feed and chemical fertilizer and manure to grow potatoes.

Beza's story

Beza is a 50-year-old married man with eight children from his marriage, two of whom are independent. They are a rural family, and Beza farms and raises pigs to earn money. He sells his products at the local market. His wife helps him and the income pays for the family's expenses.

Beza is a good partner of the microfinance institution Vahatra, and takes out loans in order to boost his capital. He has been able to expand his activities and put away some savings to build a house later, thanks to the profits from the loan. Beza needs the next loan to raise pigs and grow potatoes. He wants to buy three pigs, 250 kg. of feed, 150 kg. of chemical fertilizer and 11 wagon-loads of manure. He hopes to earn enough profits to build up his savings.
