San Salvador Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to refinance her debt and buy supplies to stock her store.

San Salvador Group's story

The group called San Salvador formed from a group of friends and neighbours in the neighbourhood of San Ignacio, who were seeking a way to be able to improve their quality of life and that of their loved ones. They strive to be able to succeed and improve each day.
One of them is Lorena, who works in retail. She has a store in her house and she mentions that she started with very little and has been improving through her business and daily struggle.
She mentions that the global crisis from the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic has impeded her ability to work as normal and generate the means to be able to help her family and this has had consequences for her business.
She is requesting this loan to be able to refinance her debt and to buy supplies to be able to stock her business and continue with her sales as she has been doing.

Note: There is only one person in the photo even though this is a group loan as it was not possible to gather for a group photo due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
