Delia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase an efficient solar-powered freezer that will help improve her convenience store business and generate more income.

Delia's story

Delia is a 58 year old woman who has worked hard to provide for her six children since she was very young. She has had a business selling groceries for 5 years in the community of Santa Barbara, Honduras, where she lives with two of her grandchildren.
Delia wants to be able to grow in her business but has had some limitations due to a lack of electricity in her community. Because of this she wasn't able to offer her customers a larger variety of products such as meat, dairy and cold drinks.
This is why she decided some time ago to install a solar-powered freezer, which has helped a lot with the income from her business because her sales increased as she was able to offer a greater variety of products to her customers.
Now, she is again requesting financing from Soluz Honduras to buy a solar-powered freezer as she wants to be able to buy more products to meet the demand and to better serve her customers as well as to generate more income with which she will improve her family's quality of life.
