Yakar Ndemou Group's story

Madame Khadidiatou is 45 years old and she is the president of the group Yakar Ndemou, which means Hope. She has been raising livestock for 5 years. She is married and has two children who go to school. She lives in Tambacounda, a region of Senegal where she runs her business just like the other members of the group.

She will use this loan to develop her livestock-raising business. Madame Khadidiatou is not educated, but she is hard worker who dreams of growing her business and increase her revenues so she can meet the needs of her family and help her husband provide for the children.

She buys her sheep and goats in the surrounding villages and areas around her residence, and resells them at the weekly markets in her town and neighboring villages.
