Purity's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy farming inputs which she will use to improve her production and make more income to support her family.

Purity's story

This is Purity who is a repeat borrower. She is a 32 years old mother of three living in Kapsowar, a town that was significantly stuck by the 2007–2008 Kenyan crisis when violence occurred in Kenya. Purity has been farming for the past fifteen years. Purity is seeking this loan to buy farming inputs which she will use to improve her production and make more income to support her family.

The major impediment to the development of small-hold farms in Kenya is lack of short-term credit facilities. Juhudi Kilimo, in partnership with Kiva, is working hard to support small holder farmers in Kenya through financing therefore guaranteeing their survival.

Be inspired to support her today. Thank you.
