La Amistad Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy used clothing items to sell.

La Amistad Group's story

The Las Amigas group was formed by friends and neighbors coming together in the city of Caaguazú. They are seeking a way to improve their and their loved ones' quality of life. They are in their second cycle of the women's committee program. All of them say that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, their businesses have been affected because they weren't able to work normally.

One of them is Magdalena, who sells used clothing. She says that her business has helped her to be able to meet the basic needs of her loved ones so that they lack for nothing. She says she is fighting to boost her business again, because it was affected by the pandemic. Little by little, with her work and the help of her group and the foundation, she knows she will be able to do it.

She is asking for this loan to invest more capital in her business and to be able to buy more items of used clothing to sell. This way, she can inject capital into her business to improve it.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo wasn't possible because they were avoiding the conglomeration of people due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
