Sinoveti's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more mulberry for her tapa-making craft.

Sinoveti's story

Sinoveti is 45 years old, married to a farmer and the mother of four children. The family lives in their own home on the island of 'Eua. Sinoveti is a member of a group of women in her village who meet every Friday to make tapas. They make all sorts of them, both with pure tapa and with tapa paper. When Sinoveti's tapas are ready, she sells them to both local people and to businesses overseas. This has been her family's main source of income for more than a decade.

Sinoveti is hoping to use her loan to buy more mulberry for her tapa-making. More mulberry means more tapas to sell. Her vision for the future is for her family's standard of living to be improved through both her own work and with the help of her loan.
