A loan helped to buy mulberry for her tapa making business and also to help provide for her family during this hard time.

'ofa's story

Greetings from this 73-year-old widow named 'Ofa. She is a mother to nine adults, and she lives with her youngest daughter at her daughter's house.

'Ofa joined a group of women in their village, and together they make tapas then sell them to earn money. Her children do not want her to join in any kind of work anymore for she is old, but 'Ofa still insists on making tapa. She raised her children with the money earned from her business, and now they all have their own families. She still wants to do tapa and make her own money. She is also a good role model to most women in the center, because no matter how old she is, she still manages her business well and makes her own money.

She applies for a loan to buy mulberry for her tapa making business and also to help provide for her family during this hard time. Her priorities are her grandchildren to make sure they are well educated.
