Angeles Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to refinance her debt and to buy vegetables, meat, bread and other ingredients for preparing food.

Angeles Group's story

The group called Los Angeles was formed from a group of friends, neighbours and acquaintances in the city of Concepción, who were looking for a way to be able to improve their and their families' quality of life. They are in their tenth cycle in the committee of women program.
Sandra is one of the members of the group. She is a single mother with one child and she works selling food. She sells empanadas, and fried chicken, among other things, which she prepares and delivers herself everyday from very early.
She is an enterprising and sacrificial person who works and strives each day to help her family.
She comments that her work was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic as she was not able to work as normal, but Sandra is seeking a way to be able to start up her business again and wants a way to be able to continue supporting her family.
She is requesting this loan to refinance her debt and to buy ingredients for preparing food, such as vegetables, meat, bread and other products.

Note: There are only three people in the photo even though this is a group loan. It was not possible for the group to gather for a photo due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
