Gabriela Karina's story

Gabriela Karina is divorced. She lives with her family in a rental home. They live in Portoviejo, which was affected by the earthquake on April 16, 2016 and now with the Covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in leafy greens, vegetables and tropical fruits for domestic consumption.

Gabriela Karina runs a business selling assorted clothing for women, men and children, makeup, items for the home, sandals, etc. She buys her merchandise from distributors in Guayaquil and sells them from home online. Usually, she sells for cash, but she allows her older clients to pay on credit and collects every week. During this global crisis, she has lived through financial troubles, her clients haven't been able to pay because they've lost their jobs, others have passed away. The health crisis affected her business very much, but now she is reactivating her business, little by little, in order to continue generating income.

She is requesting a loan to buy clothes, makeup and items for the home.

Her dream is to have her own house and that her children have their health.
