Blanca Leonor's story

Blanca Leonor is 49 years old, single, and has a nine-year-old child. They live in the canton of Jipijapa, which is known as the Sultana of Coffee. This place was severely affected by the COVID-19 health emergency.

Blanca Leonor is a hardworking woman who looks for ways to earn a living so that she can support herself and her child. She must play the role of mother and father at the same time. Even though things have gotten more difficult during the pandemic, she continues to push forward so that she can get ahead. Blanca Leonor sells storage units, plates, glasses, other plastic goods, and Yanbal products (perfumes, crèmes, trinkets, and cosmetics). Prior to the health emergency, she would go out to generate sales and achieved good results. Now she sells from home. Even though her sales have decreased, she is able to cover the cost of food.

This loan will be used to buy storage units, plates, perfumes, crèmes, trinkets, and other products.
