Tuongozane Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to acquire smoked fish, which will reinforce her initial capital.

Tuongozane Group's story

Mme Antoinnette is a client of Hekima IMF and presides over the banque villageoise Tuongozane. She is a widow, aged 60, and the mother of ten children, three of whom are in school and seven of whom are finished.

She is a smoked fish vendor. She started this business in 1993 with startup funds received from her deceased husband. Later, she got involved with the Hekima program to support her business, over the course of which she progressively improved. With this new loan, she is going to acquire smoked fish, which will support her initial capital. The weakness in her business is linked to the spoiling of goods en route and the increase in the dollar rate.

She would like for her children to continue studying, to build her house, and to develop her business. Next, she wants to thank Hekima and its partners for the support given to business owners without means in the context of the global crisis linked to Covid-19. The photo is only of the group leader because of Covid-19.
