Zhanymbubu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase bee colonies to increase her income from beekeeping and the harvesting of organic honey.

Zhanymbubu's story

The 59-year-old Zhanymbubu is married, with one son. She has a secondary education, is familiar with agricultural techniques, and knows how to use resources for their intended purpose. She has been raising livestock and tending bees since 1990, and this is her family's main source of income. Thanks to her hard work, Zhanymbubu's farm presently consists of five cows, 16 sheep, four horses, and 60 hives, each containing a bee colony. She also has a 7.2-hectare plot of irrigated land on which she grows beans.

In order to develop her farm further, Zhanymbubu has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 250,000 som (KGS), to buy more bee colonies and the hives to accommodate them. Her goal in this is to increase her income from harvesting organic honey. She is planning to put the income generated by the loan toward the ongoing development of her farm, which will come from increasing her livestock headcount and harvesting more organic honey.
