Mira's story

Mira, 44, is married and has 2 children. She has completed her secondary education. By nature, she is a woman of purpose, enterprising and hardworking.

Mira is well versed in agricultural technology and knows how to invest appropriately. As the primary source of income for her family, she has been engaged in animal husbandry since 2000. Thanks to her tireless work and responsible approach to business, she has been able to develop her farm to 3 cows, 20 sheep and 2 horses. There is also 0.5 hectares of irrigated land on which she grows beans.

To develop further her farm, Mira has applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 130,000 som (KGS) to buy dairy cows with the aim of increasing sales of organic milk and income from livestock breeding.

Mira is planning to invest the income from the loan towards further developing of her farm.
