Bryner Albert's story

Bryner Albert, 29, is a micro-entrepreneur who lives in the town of Soledad with his wife and nine-year-old little girl.

He owns a store, with more than 10 years of experience running the business. He started the business with the experience he acquired in jobs where he did this work. He sells everything related to the family shopping basket, provisions, and groceries. His customers are residents of the area.

His level of work deteriorated and his income declined drastically because of precautions from the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic.

Currently he's requesting his first Kiva loan with Fundación Mario Santo Domingo with the goal of investing in a wholesale purchase of provisions like rice, oil, sugar, cleaning products (alcohol, soap, detergent, and other items.
