Nuevas Esperanzas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy corn meal, wheat flour, oil, spices, etc.

Nuevas Esperanzas Group's story

Rosa is a young woman of 25 years of age. She is the mother of a son who is her great treasure and inspiration. She earns a living selling fried foods with the unconditional support of her husband. She has two years of experience in this business, and she has faced great challenges and problems during this period, but she has triumphed because of her love for her son.

She needs to improve her business, for which she is applying to FUNDENUSE for a loan with Kiva funds to buy basic ingredients (corn meal, wheat flour, oil, spices, and other various products) for making her products.

Her future goal is to open a little restaurant in her house, taking advantage of the fact that they are building a new regional hospital for her city, and it is half a block from her house.

She belongs to the solidarity group "Nuevas Esperanzas" [New Hopes] along with Kateryn, who makes and sells nacatamales [Nicaraguan-style tamales], and Maria, who makes and sells fried foods.
