A loan helped To buy lining fabric, interfacing, zippers, and thread to boost her initial capital.

Usiano Group's story

Mme Amina is a client of the MFI Hekima and the president of the banc villageois “Usiano.” She is 36 years old, married, and has four children; three go to school, the other one is younger. Her husband is a welder.

She is a seamstress and has a workshop, a business she launched in 2006 with some start-up money from her husband. She later joined the Hekima program to support her business, which has steadily progressed. She will use this new loan to buy lining fabric, interfacing, zippers, and threads, which will boost her initial capital. The main challenge of her activity is theft.

She would like for her children to keep studying and to be able to feed her family. She wants to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to non-bankable business owners, especially in the context of the COVID-19 global crisis. The photo only shows the group leader because of COVID-19.
