Miatta's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more sugar, soap, and toothpaste to resell.

Miatta's story

Miatta is 31 years old; she is living together with her partner along with 4 children who live at home. Miatta attended school until 9th grade. She deals in a business selling sugar, soap, and toothpaste. Her mother taught her how to sell and she started the business with some earnings from her partner.

Miatta uses a car to transport supplies to her business site. She sells 6 days a week, from 8:00 am up to 5:00 pm. She is unable to operate normally as a result of the COVID-19 crisis. To continue her business, Miatta applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva Field Partner. With this loan, she will buy more sugar, soap and toothpaste to resell to her good clients.

In the future, Miatta wants to build houses. She is highly grateful for the financial support rendered.
