A loan helped to buy rice, meat and other groceries for making food.

Saret's story

Saret is 40 years old, married, and is the mother of two children. She cooks and sells porridge. Her husband is a tuk tuk driver. She has been running this business for 1.6 years.

Saret has applied for a 2,500,000 KHR loan through Kiva's field partner Chamroeun to buy rice, meat, and other groceries for making food. Using the loan, she will be able to earn more income to continue her business as well as support her family's living standards. She hopes that she can grow her business and renovate her home.

Her main challenge is more competitors.
