Solange Maricela's story

Solange Maricela is in a common-law relationship. She has three minor children; they attend school. Her partner works in various trades: house painting, glazing, gypsum. They live in a family home. They live in Manta, which was affected by the 16 April 2016 earthquake, with buildings, trade, and many lives lost. It's considered the most important ocean resort, with beautiful and welcoming beaches. Most of the people there work in fishing.

Solange Maricela has a small stationery store where every day she sells a variety of products like notebooks, pencils, folders, pens, bond paper, erasers, markers, etc.

It was very bad for her at the beginning of the health crisis because she couldn't sell anymore, but little by little she's reactivating her business now so she can continue to earn her income.

Her partner, her children, her father, and she herself got sick. But the good news is that now they're recovering little by little. Other family members died.

With this new loan she's going to buy colored pencils, correctors, notebooks, pens, markers, folders, etc.

Her dream is to have a well-stocked stationery shop and for her family to be very healthy.
