Diekafo Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy animals to resell with the goal of providing for the family's needs.

Diekafo Group's story

Assa is 48 years old and married, with five dependent children whose ages range from eight to 16 years; two of them are in school. Assa did not attend school. She raises ovine [sheep] in a rural community in Mali and sells clothes nearby. She buys and sells her animals in cash at the weekly market and in the neighboring villages.

Assa's ambitions revolve around the well-being of her household and her children. Her living conditions are encouraging, which is why she had the idea of joining a microfinance institution like RMCR. As an RMCR customer, the loan will help to expand her ovine [sheep] breeding business which, along with her retail sales, generates monthly income of 25,000 CFA francs. NB: Ovine is made up of sheep, rams, ewes, and similar animals. The woman has a ewe in her hands.
