Marie Jose's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more new tailoring machines and other tailoring equipment to sell.

Marie Jose's story

Marie Jose is married and has three children. She is very committed to the well-being of her family: her dream and hope is to improve her family’s living standards.

For 10 years, Marie Jose has owned a tailoring retail business with no employees. She loves her work because it allows her to provide for her family needs. Marie Jose wants to gradually expand her business but her lack of capital prevents her from doing so.

Therefore, Marie Jose is requesting a loan in order to buy more new tailoring machines and other tailoring equipment so she will have sufficient stock of tailoring equipment to sell which will increase sales and earn more revenue. The profits generated by this loan will be used to pay her family’s medical insurance, and will provide sufficient meals and savings for her family. Moreover, this is Marie Jose's 2nd loan cycle with Visionfund Rwanda.

Consequently, Marie Jose is truly appreciative to Kiva lenders for allowing her to receive this loan.
