Keo's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy the ingredients to make the food she serves in her open-air eatery.

Keo's story

Keo is sixty years old, married and the mother of a child. For the past six and a half years she and her husband have cooked and sold food and rice. Their main challenges are more competitors and the fluctuation in price of goods.

Keo has applied for a 3,000,000 KHR loan through Kiva's field partner Chamroeun to buy rice, Chinese noodles, meat and other groceries to make the food she serves in her open-air eatery. Using the loan, she will be able to earn more income to continue her business as well as support her family's living standards. She hopes that she can grow her business, renovate her home and send her child to school.
