Atyrkul's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase her cattle headcount and sales of organic milk.

Atyrkul's story

The 59-year-old Atyrkul is a widow with four children. She has a secondary education, and is industrious, goal-oriented, and enterprising by nature. She is well familiar with agricultural techniques and knows how to use resources for their intended purpose. She has been raising livestock since 1990, and this is her family's main source of income. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach, she has been able to develop her farm, so that it now consists of four cows and 10 sheep, as well as a 3.06-hectare plot of irrigated land on which she grows clover and beans.

In order to develop her business further, Atyrkul has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 220,000 som (KGS), to buy dairy cows. Her goal in this is to increase her sales of organic milk and her income from cattle rearing. She is planning to put the income generated by the loan toward the ongoing development of her farm.
