Binja Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on stones to sell.

Binja Group's story

Ms. Bernadette is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and presides over the village group named “BINJA”; she is a widow, 59 years old, and the mother of four children, who are all independent.

A vendor of stones, she started this enterprise fifteen years ago with startup funding from her husband. Later one, she got involved with the Hekima program to support her enterprise and has been working progressively since then.

With this new loan, she will stock up on stones and will pay the workers, thus she will bolster her initial capital. Her business faces no problems.

She would like to renovate her house. So she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting business owners lacking cash during the global crisis related to Covid-19. The photo shows only the group leader because of Covid-19.
