Uilamina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy taro roots (seedlings), banana tubes (seedlings), chemicals, a backpack sprayer, and a chainsaw.

Uilamina's story

Uilamina is a 54-year-old married woman with two children. She runs a business selling taro and banana in her community to earn a living. She has four years of experience with this business.

She works very hard to please her customers with her fresh taro and banana. She even delivers her products to the flea market by bus.

Uilamina thought she would earn more income if she planted more banana and taro, but to do this she needs a loan to buy taro roots (seedlings), banana tubes (seedlings), chemicals, a backpack sprayer, and a chainsaw.

She comes from a family in which no one else works to earn a living. Only her business helps her family meet their needs. Her dream is that one day her family will enjoy a great standard of living.

Uilamina became a member of SPBD in 2016 to seek financial support for her business. She knows that your support will be a big help for her and her family.
