Mujeres Unidas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase flour, eggs, butter, sugar, and other products.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The group called Mujeres Unidas is in its loan cycle number 3 in the women's committee program, where they all work and help each other to get ahead. They are helping themselves and work together to be able to get their loved ones ahead and that they do not experience any type of hardship.

One of them is Cynthia, who sells cakes to be able to help sustain her family. She says that though the work is modest, she is proud of what she does since with this it has allowed her to pay for her family's necessities.

She is grateful for the opportunity to be able to join the group to be able to grow and improve, particularly due to the situation she is experiencing since, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she was unable to work normally, which affected her income and her work. But, she seeks the way to be able to improve and get ahead.

She asks for this loan to be able to invest in her business and purchase supplies to be able to make her cakes, such as flour, eggs, butter, sugar, and other products.

Note: There is only one person in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible to prevent the gathering of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
