Jennyfer Johanna's story

Jennyfer is 30 years old. She maintains a common-law marriage. She has 2 children who are 8 years old and 6 months old. Her husband is a bricklayer. They live in a rented home in the canton of Jaramijo, which is known as a small fishing cove.

Jennyfer is a very determined woman who despite the difficult situation that is going on because of the health emergency is pushing herself to get ahead. For 3 years she has made a living from selling fast foods, but she had to shut down her business because of the pandemic.

It is because of this that in order to be able to continue generating an income, she decided to start a new business which is making and selling a variety of crafts made of foam sheets to the different bookstores in her sector. She also sells from her home when her customers request some crafts from her. Thus, she is managing to earn that what is necessary to allow her to get ahead.
