Abraham's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cement, sand, and gravel stones and to pay for labor to build his family's residential house.

Abraham's story

Abraham is an enterprising man; he owns a primary school in Bundibugyo, Uganda, besides being a farmer. He has been in a cocoa farming and selling business for over 17 years now. He was inspired to start a school business to serve the people, mainly because he looked at the long distances pupils traveled to the government schools for free education services and in most cases with a high dropout rate.

Being a family man, he is responsible for paying school fees for his children. His challenge is that school dues are now affected by the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, and yet he needs the money for school maintenance activities. This affects his desire to improve education standards in his area. He used the first loan to buy cement, sand, and gravel stones and to pay for labor to build his family's residential house. He intends to use this loan for buying land for food crop production.
