A loan helped to buy more soda and milk.

Twitezimbere Cb Group's story

Souzanne is a 63-year-old widower with three children between 20 and 35 years old. For the past 20 years, she has sold beans and rice.

Souzanne is the leader for the group named Twitezimbere CB, which means “Let's Develop Ourselves” in English. Group members sell different items and own a variety of stores.

Souzanne will use her loan to buy more soda and milk to sell. With the profits from her sales, she will buy livestock and put away some savings.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all the members, but it was able to get one representative for the group photo.
