Noong Luong 27 Group's story

Thuy, 33, is a Thai ethnic woman who has three daughters and a son. She is a farmer. In addition, she raise chickens and ducks to earn extra income for her family. Her husband is a worker at a cement factory and makes the main income for the family. Her family lives in a poor village in Dien Bien province. Dien Bien is a northwest border province of Vietnam surrounded by mountains.

Now, with the disease situation and multi-child families, she is facing many difficulties about finances. So to have capital to invest in breeding, she decided to take her tenth loan from Anh Chi Em program. This time the loan will be used to buy chickens, ducks, and rice seeds. She hopes this investment will be as successful as the previous one so she can get a good profit. She plans to use the profit to cover her children’s education and continue to reinvest.
