Phon's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to build a household latrine and buy related items necessary to improve her family's sanitation and personal hygiene.

Phon's story

Phon was photographed on the side of her own house situated in Rokhak Kiri district, in the Batambong province. She lives there with her spouse and four single children.

She is 42 years old and an industrious woman who devotes herself full time to a farming business as well as to her household. She has been farming rice since 2010 to make a living. She also has been raising some poultry at home for additional income. However, the income she earns is just enough to meet the family's daily needs for food.

Phon and her spouse put their efforts together in order to provide basic necessities and educate their children. She has applied for a loan to build a household latrine and buy items necessary to improve their sanitation and personal hygiene. With the loan support, she hopes that everyone in her family can live a comfortable lifestyle. This water loan program encourages healthy living conditions, which both safeguard the health of her family and protect the environment.
