01_Thor Diender Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for chicks to raise and some fabrics to resell.

01_Thor Diender Group's story

This group of two women is from the 'banc villageois' set up in 2011. The women live in the same village and have good ties of solidarity, kinship, and friendship. They have paid back several loans on time.

Ms. Amy is the group's representative appearing at the right in the photo with a hand raised. She is 58, married, and the mother of seven children: four boys and three girls. She has a chicken farm as a business. She gets supplies from wholesalers and operates in her neighborhood at home, where there is a chicken coop. All the while, she sells fabrics and shoes. She has ten years of experience in these sectors of business.

With her loan, she is going to pay for 150 chicks, 14 sacks of chicken feed, and vaccines, as well as different fabrics (wax, sheer, damask, …) she plans to resell at a good profit. She sells her products without a problem. Her earning enable her to cover household expenses and also to save money within the 'banc villageois' itself.
