but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase fabrics and trim to resell.

01_Sop Mame Diarra Group's story

These ten good and honest women are energetic and belong to a group in existence since October 2013; the women have solidarity and have paid back successfully an initial loan gotten from a partner. Their main work involves commerce.

Ms. Thialale is the group's representative sitting at the left in the photo with a hand raised. She is 57 years old, married, and the mother of three, who are all in school. She is a clothier.

Running a business selling fabrics and ready-to-wear clothing, she gets supplies in the capital and works out of her home, where there is a workshop. She has over fifteen years of experience in this sector of commerce.

She is going to pay for 10 meters of sheer fabrics and rolls of ‘riche’ damask, cotton embroidery, as well as some trim. She sells fabrics and makes clothing by special order. She is near her customer base and manages to sell her merchandise easily.

The earnings obtained will be used to support herself, to put toward her savings, to support other plans, and to develop her commerce.
