Santa Rosa Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy manioc flour, cheese, eggs, salt, and other products.

Santa Rosa Group's story

The group called Santa Rosa is in its 31st cycle of the Women’s Committee Program, where they all work and help each other get ahead. They are a part of the poverty elimination program where all of them fight to be able to improve their living conditions and that of their loved ones.

One of them is María, who makes a living making and selling chipas, which is a typical Paraguayan food that is eaten throughout the year. She mentions that her business has allowed her to help support her home and family and with this be able to give them quality of life. She is grateful for the opportunity she receives to be able to join this group, thereby being able to continue helping support her home and her loved ones.

She is asking for this loan to be able to buy ingredients to keep on making chipas, such as manioc flour, cheese, eggs, salt, and other products to continue with her sales.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible to prevent crowding of people during the Covid-19 pandemic.
