Avec Kawral Yero Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy nanny goats and billy goats to resell.

Avec Kawral Yero Group's story

The woman in the photo is Adama. She is the leader of the Avec Kawral Yero Group, which in the Fulani language means "agreement". Madame Adama is 45 years old, married, and the mother of three children between the ages of six and eleven. Two of her children attend school.

Adama has been farming livestock for 20 years. This loan is intended for the entire group, which consists of twelve women, and will be used to purchase nanny goats and billy goats. Adama will buy her goats from local weekly markets, and she will resell them at the same markets.

With her earnings, she is able to pay for her children's school and medical fees. Although she never attended herself, Adama would like her children to continue their studies at leading schools for a brighter future.

Adama dreams of becoming one of the biggest sheep suppliers for major events in her community. She occasionally faces challenges related to theft and livestock disease.
