Buena Esperanza Sector 4 Group's story

Keyla is 36 years old, a single mother of three children, and currently lives with her granddaughter. She is known in her neighborhood as being a determined woman who works arduously for the sustenance of her household's expenses. She works making and selling tortillas and cups of coffee. She learned this work from her mother and now uses it as her source of income.

She asks for a loan from Fundenuse with Kiva funds to purchase the raw materials to make her products since the demand is considerable and she wants to purchase in bulk. She has as future plans to be able to diversify her business, selling other products.

She belongs to the Buena Esperanza Sector 4 solidarity group with Walter, who works selling cheese as a street vendor and María, who sells tortillas, firewood, and coffee beans.
